Smart Plug-unable to unlink & shows duplicate

Got the 2gen Google Nest for Christmas. Everything mostly integrated, but I am having trouble with my smart plugs. I started seeing a duplicate plug with same name listed in the home (not in a room), and all in all ended up unlinking not only the link between Google Nest and Enbrighten (5 plugs) but also went to Enbrighten app and completely removed plugs listed and unlinked on their app. I had tried to redo 1 plug (for testing) but now I have 2 plugs named the same in my home. Even after unlinking from Google Home & Enbrighten. The "link" to unlink will not work.
