Whitelist a server and Open Ports - Help my NordicTrack bike connect

Hi - I have a NordicTrack bike and their support suggests I need to whitelist specific servers and open specific ports for my exercise bit to work with Google Wifi:
Ensure the following servers are whitelisted:
google.com
gateway.ifit.com
ifit-wolf.s3-cdn.ifit.com
cdn.ifit.com
app.launchdarkly.com

As well please ensure the following ports are opened:
TCP port: 80 - HTTP
TCP port: 443 - HTTPS
TCP port: 4348 - iFit
UDP port: 4348 - iFit

How do I do this from the Google Home app on my iPhone? Thanks!

(Assuming this is outbound traffic)

These domains / FQDNs and ports are not blocked by Nest Wifi. If you have UPnP enabled, this should just work out of the box.

How is your network other than Nest Wifi, what other components and how is everything connected? Do you have any routers or firewalls in front of it?

@olavrb Thank you so much for your reply. UPnP is enabled, and I have no other routers or firewalls. The issue with my NordicTrack exercise bicycle is it has trouble connecting to the wifi and staying connected to the wifi. They have had me do lots of debugging, hard resetting, etc. They've blamed my Goole mesh wifi, which I've disabled. I'm getting a whole new computer from this week, so hopefully the problems go away, but in the meantime their latest suggestion was I make the configuration changes in my original message. From your reply, I shouldn't have to change anything on Google wifi side, right?

Correct. If those FQDNs/ domains and ports were blocked, it would not work at all.

Sounds like WiFi issues. If ethernet cable is possible, use that. Else, an alternative could be to buy a cheap access point, connect it to Nest Wifi by ethernet cble, and broadcast a 2.4GHz signal only from it.

IMO, this is an issue with your bike, not Nest Wifi. Modern devices should handle how Nest Wifi does Wi-Fi. I'd ask the manufacturer for a firmware update that fixes these Wi-Fi issues, maybe new drivers for the Wi-Fi card is what it takes.

@Jeff The latest suggestion from iFit was "You can try to split the signal on your network and name it 2 different names so that you can assign the machine to connect to specific WIFI signal. Sometimes that will require you to contact you ISP provider and they will need to assist you with that. " Is there a place to get instructions on how to do this?

This is not possible on Nest Wifi, 2.4ghz and 5ghz will always have the same name.

@EdwardT I've installed and connected my NordicTrack bike to another 2.4 router, and the bike connects fine. I can't do a final test if the fix works until April 4, when I'm having a new reed switch installed. But things are looking promising... at least if the bike doesn't work, iFit/NordicTrack will not be able to blame a mesh network!
