I have Google mesh and I was wondering are you suppose to switch all your devices over to the Google WiFi. Like my laptop, tablet, tv, and chrome cast or do I leave them connected to my other router?

Generally speaking, the best advice is to use your Google WiFi network for everything (wired/Ethernet and wireless/WiFi). That way they are all on the same network as each other, which will simplify things like using a wired chromecast from a WiFi device.
