i had installed a Netgear 5port switch is i could have both my google mesh and a hard wired port to my dest top.

it seems i cannot have both working at the same time.

Sorry about the connection issues you're seeing on your network. That sounds like a huge inconvenience. The flashing you're seeing on your device indicates a network connection error. You can see a full list of status lights here: https://bit.ly/3bA5cXg.

There is some sort of disconnect being introduced with the addition of the Netgear switch. Can you tell me how you have it wired up? Do you have the switch before the router coming from the modem, or is it coming behind the router?
