    <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://www.googlenestcommunity.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/19"&gt;@Jeff&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;old friend -- can confirm we have the latest wifi versions listed on&amp;nbsp;&lt;A href="https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/11993118?hl=en-GB" target="_blank"&gt;https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/11993118?hl=en-GB&lt;/A&gt;&amp;nbsp;and "Mesh connectivity improvements – auto mesh recovery, network loop mitigation" hasn't seemed to make a difference.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;We are still seeing drops and mesh connectivity dropping w/o recovery multiple times per week, constantly restarting the router, often in the middle of the work day / meetings. My partner uses her &lt;STRONG&gt;phone hotspot&lt;/STRONG&gt;&amp;nbsp;often so she can actually work, which is not a solution.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I'm a little unclear why this isn't a P0 or P1 production defect for the Google Wifi engineering team at this point. This thread alone has almost 750 replies last I checked, with a problem dating back to Fall 2021. This isn't an isolated issue, and for every person on here there's countless folks who have either already ditched the system or are "living" with constantly needing to restart the wifi network. at their homes.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Are you able to provide any real technical information from the Product team on why this issue has not been resolved? From the last firmware update notes above it does seem like some fixes were put in place for mesh recovery etc. in an attempt to address this. However from the daily replies to this thread and my own experience, the fix is not actually solving the product defect.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Since it seems like the sphere of 'community specialist' is not embedded directly in the loop of the product team actually working on this I doubt any of this feedback gets to the team itself ... but at this point if we are all going to "live with" the constant network dropouts, Google Home should at least have some more proactive alerts and reset options built into the app -- if my mesh fails the google home app should be able to tell me so I know to either hard-reset the router ... or I should be able to kick-off a soft-reset from the app to try to "repair" the mesh and get it back to a good state. Failing that if the engineering team is having trouble replicating the mesh issue in a lab-environment, I'd love to be able to quickly send the relevant network logs and error states over to the team once an inevitable mesh failure happens, so even an "effortless" reporting feature would be a better solve than the &lt;STRONG&gt;six months&lt;/STRONG&gt; of promises to fix this and a firmware update that has not addressed the issue.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;For the past week my Google nest Wi-Fi go randomly off-line. There&amp;nbsp;have been absolutely no other changes in my network or environment that could cause this. I’ve had no issues prior to this.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I can see a couple of posts in the forum of a similar vein, has anybody been able to solve this issue? Is it a firmware problem?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I’ve done a full factory reset which hasn’t helped, and in fact seems to have made it worse.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Setup: Router (firmware&amp;nbsp;13729.57.27) and 2 points (firmware 1.54.267572)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;any ideas?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have the same problem also.&amp;nbsp; I've had my Nest wifi and Google wifi for almost 2 years without any problems and now I have them daily.&amp;nbsp; When plugged in with Ethernet cable, internet is fine.&amp;nbsp; This problem seems random. Lasts 5 to 10 min then spontaneously resolves without intervention.&amp;nbsp; Another forum suggested too many wifi points and they were causing interference.&amp;nbsp; I've just reduced mine from 5 to 4.&amp;nbsp; Too soon to tell if that helps.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;So there is a known issue here and we are actually rolling out firmware updates to WiFi devices now. The update is hitting devices as we speak, and your Nest WiFi will automatically update soon.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;We're still discussing this internally and testing situations and different factors. I have a series of questions and things to check with your intermittent connections. I realize some of this has been answered or checked, but as we're gathering very specific info right now, it would really help us move things along. Thanks so much for your input.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;Did any of the WiFi&amp;nbsp;points give audible errors, such as:&lt;/P&gt;

 &lt;P&gt;What is the location of the affected WiFi point in relation to other WiFi Access Points/Routers? (please note distance, in same/different room, same/different floor, any major obstructions/interference like walls, floors, cabinets, appliances etc?)&lt;/P&gt;

 &lt;LI&gt;
 &lt;P&gt;Did you&amp;nbsp;change yourWiFi setup recently / was it was working fine before / what did they use before and what did they swap to?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

Wifi Accesss point downstairs.       <description>&lt;P&gt;I have the same issue. I "upgraded" from the original Google Wifi to Nest WiFi and I am seriously regretting it. Per the "event history" list in my Google Home app, my Google Wifi Router went offline 25 times yesterday. It is constantly interrupting my work, including causing me to need to reschedule important client Zoom meetings on more than one occasion. Google knows this is a pervasive issue and yet they have not communicated anything to customers about it. They should stop selling these devices it they know they have a problem and don't know how to fix it.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
