I have gonetspeed for ISP - Fiber. A wired connection to a switch that I have three Google routers on work. One of my routers is a Google Wifi Router. The other two are Google Nest Wifi Routers. I was having inconsistent connections issues with a cell device and decide to take the old generation router out of the mix. I drop the network device via google home and of course they were no longer recognized, even as new devices. I then Factory reset the newest Nest wifi keeping the other two off and I did detect it finally after a factory reset but won't connect with the internet. So I unplugged it and then tried the other Nest Wifi and it too was recognized after a factory reset but won't detect the internet. I did the whole reset ISP modem (Fiber) a few times during this process but to no avail. So a similar issue I think I will post a separate inquiry and see if anything pops up. Reply back here if you have since resolved your issue. (and how). I will do that here if a get a positive result.

I have a wired connection that works fine so its not the ISP. I have a D-Link DGS-1210-10P Smart Managed Switch. I tested the wiring and get the correct # of green lights on a Ethernet tester. Second Router I tested is also connected directly to the switch.

There should be no switch between the modem and the primary puck. It should be modem -> primary puck -> switch -> other wired devices, like secondary puck(s).

Only reason to have a smart switch between modem and primary puck would be to untag VLAN, like described here:

https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9798157?hl=en

Also, with a smart/ managed switch, make sure it doesn't do STP (spanning tree protocol), it could conflict with Nest Wifi and make a mess. That's why it's recommended to use dumb/ unmanaged switches with Nest Wifi.

https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/6274262?hl=en

About what you might have to do, to use a managed switch successfully:
