NEST point outlet mount

Searched and never saw a thread on this. Does anyone know if it is an issue to have your NEST points flipped 90 degrees so that I can use a plug mount to reduce cordage? They are aftermarket holders that plug into an outlet however you have to flip the device to hang it from the plug. Wondering if it causes issues. Thanks in advance.

Should work fine. Each Nest WiFi Point unit has two antennas in the 2.4GHz band and two antennas in the 5GHz band. Each antenna is roughly "omnidirectional", and with two antennas, the result is a pretty good approximation of spherical coverage. The point is, it shouldn't care what orientation you put it in. Placement is much more important (i.e., make sure it's close enough to the primary Nest WiFi Router unit to get a strong 5GHz connection for itself; from there, it will provide coverage to more distant 2.4GHz and 5GHz clients).
