Google Mesh Guest Network has spotty internet while primary network is fine

I have a Google Mesh with model AC 1304. This network has worked fine for me for the last 1-2 years. A couple months ago my guest network started intermittently failing while the primary network is fine. I keep all non-home computers off the primary network but now every other day I get complaints that there is no internet connectivity when joining my guest network. I have tried resetting my device a couple times and that seems to help for a day or two but the problem comes back. Any advice on how to permanently fix this problem?

Thanks for bringing this to our attention ― let's see what's going on.

How many devices are connecting to your guest network? Are you using a modem/router combo from your Internet Service Provider (ISP)? Also, have there been any changes in your network recently?

Give these steps a whirl:

Unplug the power from your Google Wifi devices for 2 minutes.
Change your guest network’s name and password.
If the issue persists, try factory resetting your network.
