Wifi Pro setup

Just received Google Wifi Pro 3-pack. Was unable to setup router using iPhone 14 Pro (multiple tries, failure to connect to WiFi). However setup went flawless using iPhone 12 Pro.

I'm happy to see that you got things set up properly, but I'm sorry about the difficulty between your devices for setup. Do you know if there's an iOS version difference between your two devices, or are they both up to the newest version of iOS?

Both phones are running iOS 16.1

Are you having any troubles at all managing settings on the newer phone, or was it just setup that gave you problems? Sometimes a device's bluetooth settings can cause troubles during setup, so maybe there was a difference there or a permissions difference between the two phones. If you're having problems managing the network with either device, let me know.

Thanks Jeff. Also when I connect my Ethernet switch to the LAN port on the WiFi Pro router after the WiFi Pro router has been setup with my fiber modem my other two WiFi Pro nodes work well (Backhauled), however any computer connected to the Ethernet network lose their internet connectivity. Does the WiFi Pro router not support Ethernet connected device on the network?

the switch is connected to the LAN port of the WiFi pro router. The computer is connected to the switch. Two other WiFi pro nodes are connected to the switch. The WiFi pro nodes work well but the computer cannot access internet. Thanks for the help. Tom

Could you try to use the Ethernet port used for one of the access points plugged into the switch?

That is how I eventually ended up. My ATT fiber modem has 4 Ethernet ports. One port is used for the WiFi pro router. Another port goes to my Ethernet switch. The computers connect to the switch and work great. The other two WiFi APs connect to the switch and work great as well. Tom
