Hello @clairebre

I have personally had good luck using Linksys brand unmanaged switches, but I know many others have had good luck with Netgear and TP-Link. The last one I bought was a 5-port Linksys LGS105, which has a metal case. But, the SE3005 should be similar and is a bit cheaper. I have also bought 8-port switches (LGS108, but again – the SE3008 should be similar). I find switch ports fill up fast, so buying an 8-port to start with might be worth the extra few dollars.

I have just installed a Google Nest WiFi and realised I need at least 3 ethernet ports. Any recommendations for the unmanaged switch which it seems I need?

I have two unmanaged TrendNet switches in my setup (one 5-port and one 8-port) and have zero issues with them and have used them with two Google Wifis (Gen 1) and now the newest Nest Wifi Pros. I echo @MichaelP 's suggestion to spend a little more for more ports to give yourself a few extra ones in case you need them later one.
