    <description>&lt;P&gt;Please give a thumbs up to this response so that more people find it.&amp;nbsp;I have read all the previous comments and wanted to share my experience with Google Nest WiFi.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I use Google Nest WiFi &lt;STRONG&gt;a lot&lt;/STRONG&gt;. I support WiFi for 16 sites of a non-profit organization in Ontario, Canada. In addition I am a manager for 5 families with Google Nest WiFi. So that's &lt;STRONG&gt;over 60 Google Nest APs worldwide&lt;/STRONG&gt;.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The 16 sites in Ontario, Canada are spread over a 200 km radius.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Some (less than 10%) of the sites have the old hockey-puck shaped AC-1304 models (original Google WiFi). The first of these were installed in 2019.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;But most (more than 90%) are the Google Mesh AP/speaker combo. For these, the router is AC2200 (shows up as H2D in Settings) and the Points are AC1200 (shows up as H2E in Settings).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have never had an issue with the older AC-1304 models. &lt;STRONG&gt;But over half of the sites with AC2200 have APs that go Offline within a week of rebooting.&lt;/STRONG&gt;&amp;nbsp;Reports of APs going offline have increased in 2022. It wasn't so bad in 2020 and 2021.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Troubleshooting steps, based on numerous sessions with Google Nest WiFi Support, include:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Restart router from Google Home app --&amp;gt; Does not help. Obviously, network is offline for the duration of the reboot, but offline APs remain offline.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Restart AP from Google Home app --&amp;gt; Does not help. Makes no immediate difference.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Physical reboot (unplug/replug) of offline AP --&amp;gt; Everything looks good for a few days. But then after a few days, the problem resurfaces and APs go offline. This is something I coordinate with remote people at those sites. I tell them where the AP is and ask them to physically reboot the AP. They typically do not have access to the Gmail account for the Google Home app. Moreover, some of these APs are in ceilings that require ladder access, which is inconvenient. Rebooting them every few days is not an option.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Factory reset AP or router --&amp;gt; Not attempted. This is not an option. This is a complex operation that would have to be done by me. I cannot ask the remote volunteers to do this. Because of the sheer number of APs that go offline and their distance from where I live (I have a day job), it is not practical to drive hundreds of kilometers out to do this myself when I did the initial install just months earlier.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;HW exchange --&amp;gt; Not an option for the same reason.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Disabling Bridge mode on the ISP modem --&amp;gt; Does not help.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have worked in technical roles at Cisco, Juniper, and HPE, and know a thing or two about networking. Google Nest WiFi is obviously not an enterprise-grade solution. It is a home-grade solution. You get what you pay for. Nobody is debating that. However, stable reliable performance is what every consumer demands. It should not require a physical reboot every few days. These are not supposed to be Windows 95-like devices. One should be able to expect a reasonable level of quality from these devices.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It is pretty clear to me that Alpha (of &lt;A href="https://killedbygoogle.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;Killed By Google infamy&lt;/A&gt;) has diverted Engineering investment away from Nest WiFi, leaving their customers with bricks.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I challenge Google Nest WiFi Product Management to come to this forum and address this comment with a roadmap for software support of these devices.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>Nest wifi randomly going offline</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;For the past week my Google nest Wi-Fi go randomly off-line. There&amp;nbsp;have been absolutely no other changes in my network or environment that could cause this. I’ve had no issues prior to this.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I can see a couple of posts in the forum of a similar vein, has anybody been able to solve this issue? Is it a firmware problem?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I’ve done a full factory reset which hasn’t helped, and in fact seems to have made it worse.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Setup: Router (firmware&amp;nbsp;13729.57.27) and 2 points (firmware 1.54.267572)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;any ideas?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have the same problem also.&amp;nbsp; I've had my Nest wifi and Google wifi for almost 2 years without any problems and now I have them daily.&amp;nbsp; When plugged in with Ethernet cable, internet is fine.&amp;nbsp; This problem seems random. Lasts 5 to 10 min then spontaneously resolves without intervention.&amp;nbsp; Another forum suggested too many wifi points and they were causing interference.&amp;nbsp; I've just reduced mine from 5 to 4.&amp;nbsp; Too soon to tell if that helps.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have the same problem too.&amp;nbsp; The randomly going offline started when M89 firmware came out.&amp;nbsp; I also reported it in this link (&lt;A href="https://support.google.com/googlenest/thread/116896459/m89-firmware-is-unstable-on-google-wifi?hl=en" target="_blank"&gt;https://support.google.com/googlenest/thread/116896459/m89-firmware-is-unstable-on-google-wifi?hl=en&lt;/A&gt;).&amp;nbsp; A few days ago, the problem became a lot worst.&amp;nbsp; It became offline twice a day.&amp;nbsp; The Wifi router and points are running firmware 13729.57.27.&amp;nbsp; I have also sent the Feedback to Google.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hey, everyone.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;I see there's a few more people with the issue, and it's something we're still investigating internally. We know it's a problem that's being seen a bit more in the community, but as of right now I don't have any updates quite yet. I will keep the thread in the know as I find out more.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;We're still discussing this internally and testing situations and different factors. I have a series of questions and things to check with your intermittent connections. I realize some of this has been answered or checked, but as we're gathering very specific info right now, it would really help us move things along. Thanks so much for your input.&lt;/P&gt;

 &lt;P&gt;How long did the WiFi network work properly before encountering connectivity issues?&lt;/P&gt;
 &lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;
 &lt;P&gt;How did you discover that the network was having connectivity issues?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
 &lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;/OL&gt;

&lt;P&gt;Did any of the WiFi&amp;nbsp;points give audible errors, such as:&lt;/P&gt;

 &lt;P&gt;“I can't reach the internet right now. Check your modem or router connection and try again.&lt;/P&gt;
 &lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;
 &lt;P&gt;“I can't connect to the Wi-Fi network. You might want to check the connection settings in the Google Home app”&lt;/P&gt;
 &lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;
 &lt;P&gt;Something else? (Please note the error message, or how the issue was discovered)&lt;/P&gt;

 &lt;P&gt;What is your WiFi setup? (single router or multiple access points - how many?)&lt;/P&gt;

 &lt;P&gt;What is the location of the affected WiFi point in relation to other WiFi Access Points/Routers? (please note distance, in same/different room, same/different floor, any major obstructions/interference like walls, floors, cabinets, appliances etc?)&lt;/P&gt;
 &lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;
 &lt;P&gt;Did you&amp;nbsp;change yourWiFi setup recently / was it was working fine before / what did they use before and what did they swap to?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

Wifi Accesss point downstairs.       <description>&lt;P&gt;I have the same issue. I "upgraded" from the original Google Wifi to Nest WiFi and I am seriously regretting it. Per the "event history" list in my Google Home app, my Google Wifi Router went offline 25 times yesterday. It is constantly interrupting my work, including causing me to need to reschedule important client Zoom meetings on more than one occasion. Google knows this is a pervasive issue and yet they have not communicated anything to customers about it. They should stop selling these devices it they know they have a problem and don't know how to fix it.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
