      <description>&lt;P&gt;Upgraded from Nest Wi-Fi to Pro.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;To access Lorex NVR have port forwarding setup. This worked OK with nest Wi-Fi setup over the years.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Completed the same port forwarding on Nest Pro. Cannot access the NVR anymore from devices within same local network. Meaning if I have my Wi-Fi enabled on my iPhone, I cannot access the NVR but if I disable the Wi-Fi and access the NVR via cell service or VPN, it works.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It seems that devices with local IP address (on Wi-Fi) cannot access this port forwarded NVR.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Please suggest options to resolve.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Check to make sure that the device doesn't have a static IP in the settings as well and update if needed to the one you are assigning it to in the Home app.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Sorry, I was referring to checking the settings on the NVR itself with that statement. Some devices like the NVR are also statically set an IP address in their settings menu as well. If that IP address doesn't match the one you assigned to it in the Home app, it will also prevent connection to the NVR.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have the same settings on NVR as was on old nest Wi-Fi. Have made the same setup of IP reservation and Port forwarding on Wi-Fi pro and does not work. Workaround I have to enable VPN/One package and then works as IP is not LAN.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

I did some digging and found these things that should be checked per Lomax. While you set up the new Nest Wifi Pro the same as the previous one, it doesn't mean that there isn't a configuration that needs to be updated after the change. Here's articles from Lomax that should help with troubleshooting.
