The issues previously described the the thread/conversation noted above where the nest router appears offline in iOS until a refresh inside the app is forced are now resolved.
The resolution actually came during Nov 2022 however at that time i was travelling and away from home although the resolution was apparent even remotely and prior to the latest iOS v16 upgrade.

For the record the current software I have is;

iPhone XR iOS v16.1.2

Google Home App: 2.60.118 *updated
Nest Router (H2D): 14150.376.32
WiFi Point (H2E): 1.56.315675

Gen 1 WAP (AC-1304): 14150.376.32

Mini Speaker: System Firmware Version: 313652 *updated
Mini Speaker: Cast Firmware Version: 1.56.313652 *updated

Usually this fix only lasts for a period time before it comes back again. How long has it been working for?

seems to have held for 5 weeks so far
