Hey, Blazered.

It looks like you were able to get this sorted out with @Anonymous's help. Thanks so much for coming back and letting us know what worked for you. That always helps others figure out how to resolve their own issues. As we have a solution here, I'm going to go ahead and close up the thread, but if you need anything else going forward, please feel free to start a new thread.

Thanks.

Help needed here. I had a Google WIFI mesh network set-up for the home and a garage. Just a standard: One router/point broadcasting to the other points throughout the house and garage. It was as stable as one could expect.
However, I recently purchased a Google Nest Router with the expectation that I could take down the old Google WIFI network, create a new "home" with the Google Nest Router and broadcast the WIFI signal to my old Google WIFI points.
The Google Nest Router cannot locate my old Google WIFI points. Would someone be able to guide me to connecting the old Google WIFI points to the Google Nest Router? I thought this would be simpler. Any advice in laymen's terms would be fantastic.

Your existing Google Wifi devices can't be moved from one Google Home home to a different one just like that.

What you have to do is to factory reset all your existing units that will not act as master/ main (which your new Nest Router will do, yes?). Guide on factory reset:

https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/6246619?hl=en

Then add the factory reset units as additional devices to your Google Home home where you've configured your main Nest Wifi router. More info:

Hard, manual reset was what the doctor ordered and the points have been added. Thank you for the solution.
