Hello @pricebl

Take a look at this support page for details: https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/7215624?hl=en

But, the short version is that the one connected to your modem is the "primary" and is acting as a router+firewall. So, the other two will need to be connected to the "inner" network created by the primary. To do that, they need to connect through the "LAN" Ethernet port on the primary. Since there's only one port, you'll need an inexpensive unmanaged Ethernet switch to make more ports available.

I have the Nest Wifi Pro 3 pack. One is connected to my modem. The other two I want to hardwire as I have cat 5 outlets throughout the house. I cannot figure out how to get these points hardwired to ethernet so they work together in that manner as the wireless connection between the points is weak. Google support chat was not helpful. If anyone has suggestions I would appreciate it.

I had a similar problem. One solution is this:

The connection from the "street" is connected to the modem provided by your Internet Service Provider. (Of course, deactivate the wifi on the modem).

That modem is connected to the first Nest Wifi Pro. (By doing this, the first Nest Wifi Pro becomes the "Primary" router which assigns IP addresses to all other devices instead of the modem provided by your ISP.)

The first Nest WiFi Pro is connected back to the "On-Q" panel / hub where all the cat 5 cables meet. (This should be an unmanaged switch).

The switch is connected to all the remaining cat-5 ethernet outlets around the house.

Connect the other two Nest Wifi Pro points to any two cat-5 ethernet points.

Hard-wire any devices to the remaining cat-5 outlets if you wish.
