Hello @Jgriswold

You should be able to expose that host through port forwarding. This will allow incoming connection requests to specific (TCP and UDP) port number ranges to be allowed through the Google WiFi firewall and directed to that machine. Putting it in the "DMZ" of your old firewall was essentially opening it up to all incoming connection requests rather than only the ones you need. So, port forwarding should be safer. Here's a help article with more instructions: for setting up port forwarding for that machine: https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/6274503?hl=en

Note that you will need to set up an IP address reservation for that machine first. Here's an article on doing that: https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/6274660?hl=en

my phone co removed my standard router and installed these google wifi mesh network. On the first google wifi i have a cat 5 running to a switch in my office where i have 2 computers. 1 running a server for my search team. On my old setup that machines IP address was entered into the routers DMZ. It seems with the new hardware that is not a possibility. Is there hardware i can buy to regain that capability? I need to get this server up ASAP. the phone co is useless.. Thanks
