I have a 3 pack of the google wifi pods. Been working well for a long time as a mesh network. I have been trying to setup another computer next to the main wifi pod ( the router). I should be able to wire in a connection from the NIC of the computer to the LAN port on the wifi pod right? It works on one of the satellite pods in the house, so I don't see why the main one would not.

Turns out you need to make sure you didn't turn off your NIC card in the bios settings many years ago...
