Help! Shark Robot Vac connection issues

Has anyone successfully connected your shark robot Vac to the app via Google wifi? I have gen 1 mesh system and I can not get my vac to find the wifi? I downloaded the shark clean app and it asks to join the shark vac. I click join and it didn't go any farther than that. I've tried two different machines, no luck. When I go into Google home app, it is on the list of devices but showing offline? Help!

Thanks for posting. I’m sorry to hear you’re having this issue with your Shark Robot vacuums. To confirm, do you get any specific message whenever you try to connect them to your Google Wifi network? I’ll wait for your update.

I am able to see and connect to the robot. It asks to join shark robot vac and shark instructions say you have to accept this before you go to the next step of choosing a wifi network. I can never get as far as to choose a network. I can see if my wifi settings where I am connected to the vac, but it didn't go any farther? I thought maybe it was the unit, so I bought a second unit to test, same problem. Not able to add machines into my shark app. Also when I look into google wifi devices, it shows in list of devices? But shows greyed out and offline

Hi Nvmama9,

Thanks for the update. Let's try isolating the issue first. Are you able to create a hotspot connection and connect your device to it? Check if you're able to set up the vacuum by using that other network. Let me know how it goes.
