I started having issues connecting to my work this morning. I ran wireshark to troubleshoot and all I see in the wifi traffic is my laptop sending SYN to the vpn server and not getting any ACK. When i switch from my nest wifi to a mobile hotspot, my vpn immediately starts working. I've seen the same behavior on both my dell and apple laptop. Is Nest wifi selectively blocking websites and is there a way to whitelist my work IPs?

forgot to add that it works if i bypass google nest and connect directly to the modem

update. it started auto-magically working this afternoon without me doing anything. very weird

Hey pinoyrinako,

I'm happy to see things are working well for you. Sometimes things take a while to propagate properly through the network and work correctly. Let's watch things for a few days and see if they remain stable. If anything changes over the next while, just let me know.
