Adding wifi point, no QR

Hello, Help please. I reset a wifi point and am trying to add it to the mesh. I have lost the QR code but I am able to input the "set up code" which is engraved on the device, however, my Android phone's keyboard will not allow me to type a capital letter or any numbers. I also tried with an Android tablet and it is the same issue. The area where I need to input the set up code only allows me to type in lower-case letters. How do I fix this? TIA

What phone and Android version?

Which version of the Google Home app?

What keyboard? Could you try using "Gboard" from Google?
