Google nest wifi as travel router

I will be traveling this summer. I used to plug an Apple Airport directly into hotel or apartment Ethernet connections--NO MODEM--and set up a wifi network in the room for myself and family.

My question is whether the Google WiFi AC1200 can function in the same way: plug into an apartment wall ethernet connection and then provide wifi for multiple people in the apartment. There is only one jack ....

Hi @PeteS

The device has a WAN port, theoretically, it could work.
But the Google Wifi devices are not configurable, so I recommend looking for an alternative.
