Google nest Wifi Set up Help...

Im not sure if I am looking at this correctly or if there is some other product that will help. My scenario is this, I set up and run my google nest wifi and router inside my home ( cable modem, google nest router then two other access points) it works flawless for me.

My previous system consisted of Cable modem and wifi router with a few extenders and a 2nd router setup as a network extender in my pool shed for a internet radio receiver (ethernet connect only) connected to a LAN port on the router.

Since this upgrade and now that pool season is upon us, I can not seem to connect that old netgear router to the google nest wifi, my question is, Will this work? I am thinking about adding a google nest router to the pool shed connecting it as an access point and using the LAN to connect to the receiver. Looking for any guidance. Thanks in advance.

That's basically how I did it. Works flawlessly. I needed the maximum of five Nest points to encompass the entire property as it's rather large, but it's perfect now and there are ethernet ports available on the points that are not acting as the router and I even added an unmanaged switch to one.

Log into the old netgear router and look at the config, you might want to wipe it and reconfig it
