I have a total of 4 nest wifi pro devices in my house.

1 connected to the modem and other 3 as access points this was working all fine via the wireless backhaul for months.

I have successfully connected the main nest pro wifi router via ethernet to its closest nest pro access point and confirmed it google home that it shows as "wired".

My issue now is that the 4th AP has lost connectivity via the wireless back haul (3rd AP is fine via wireless BH) does Google nest pro not permit a mixed backhaul with 4 devices in total ?

A mixed backhaul should be supported.
You could try factory reset the 4th unit and add as a new access point.

This is very strange, all the access points are in the same locations as before when they all had green excellent connections when on wireless backhaul. (note all the APs / Routers are the google PRO WIFI devices all latest Firmware)

Modem > AP1
AP1 (the "router") Outbound port > via ethernet > A2 WAN port

AP3 and AP4 both wireless backhaul

As a test i removed the wired BH.between AP1 and AP2

when i remove the wired backhaul the and reboot the APs the connection is again ALL GREEN.

Now connecting the wired backhaul again, i get ONE ( the last wireless Pro Wifi AP rebooted before adding back the ethernet) and this ONE AP is showing as weak connection - WHY?

The only thing that has changed is adding one AP with a wired Backhaul . please help

See this earlier reply about how mesh/802.11s does not travel over ethernet (and thus, wired APs/secondaries will not provide wireless backhaul/mesh to other wireless units):

I have attempted with new cat 6 etc . Still same issue. I managed to get a stable connection whilst having the mixed back haul when I changed my isp provided modem / router into a dedicated bridge mode.

The isp modem / router was left as main router from day 1 of me getting the nest pro and have been getting perfect connection when it was ALL working via wireless backhaul. It was ONLY when I introduced one AP to have the wired backhaul did I state getting the issues other the remaining wireless APs getting bad connection and disconnecting.

Hi . I no longer require assistance . I factory reset every single router and node and redone the set up process . Things seem OK. I do get the occasional drop and the satellite router does not auto reconnect to main router a factory reset of the satellite is needed but it does not drop nearly as much as before.
