Router's frequency band change

Hi, I am using 4 google nest Wi-Fi routers (Model number H2D and FCC ID: A4R-H2D) for indoor positioning research. One router is operating at 5745 MHz, but the other three routers are operating at 5180 MHz. How can I change this 5745 MHz frequency Wi-Fi band to 5180 MHz so that I can use all the routers in the same band, 5180 MHz? Is it possible to change it?

From my experience, this is impossible, and Nest Wifi automatically determines which band is the best for your situation.

It sounds like you have Google WiFi units that were manufactured for use in multiple regions. Units made for use in the U.S., for example, will use channels 149/155 for 20MHz/80MHz bandwidth operation. These channels start at 5735MHz in the 5GHz band (5745MHz is the center of channel 149).

But, since those channels aren't allowed in many other parts of the world, units made for use elsewhere commonly use channels 36/42 for 20MHz/80MHz bandwidth operation. These channels start at 5170MHz in the 5GHz band (5180MHz is the center of channel 36).

Using multiple units from different regions in a single mesh network is not supported, and units cannot be configured to operate in a different region than they were originally manufactured and tested for. But, if you can replace the one unit you have with one manufactured for use in the same region as the others, they should all be on the same 5GHz channels as each other and can be part of a single mesh network.
