Help with Google Account set up for multiple Google point locations

We have a business with a high-rise building. We have a surplus of Google wifi points and wanted to set up wifi on each floor. I noticed when setting up a test floor that I need to create a Google account and provide email and phone number. Since there is one support group for this project, how can I set up the Google accounts so that the email and phone number is consistent for all floors. Note: I did get a warning that I couldn't use the same phone number too many times.

The short answer is realistically, you might not be able to do that depending on how many floors you're talking about. As you're aware, there is a limit to the number of times you can use the same phone number for multiple accounts.

I'm assuming you're wanting to do this so each floor has its own Wi-Fi network and it doesn't try to mesh with the points on other floors? Are you aware you can create up to 5 home structures using the same account? That way 1 Google account can manage up to 5 floors.

Thank you for your quick reply and suggestion. Your assumption is correct. I will start with your recommendation to create a home to handle the support for 5 floors. At least that should get me off the ground.

You indicated that was your short answer. Is there a long answer or solution?

No there isn't a long answer, just a turn of phrase. If you're wanting to keep the Wifi points on each floor separate to those on another floor you'll need to set them up in different homes.

Wifi points on Floor 1 would need to be setup in Home 1,
Wifi points on Floor 2 would need to be setup in Home 2, etc...

If you don't do it like that and try and set them in all in the same home structure, it will try and mesh them together across floors and can only be 1 Wifi network (there's a limit of 1 Wifi network per home structure). Google also doesn't recommend installing more than 5 Wifi points in a single "network". Adding more might be detrimental to Wi-Fi performance.

In short, the Google Home app supports only one Wi-Fi network per home structure, but you can create up to 5 homes with a Wi-Fi network in each.
