google nest wifi point stuck in “Select your region” screen

My nest wifi router point said it did a reset and suggested I remove it from network. My network had been dropping off for no reason so I tried removing the point and adding back on. I got to “select your region” screen. When I select any country it just stays on there abd does not proceed to next screen. I’ve seen this issue posted elsewhere but with no resolution. I thought it was important to repost so it was clear the issue was still not addressed.

On your phone or on your Wi-Fi point? Could you send us a picture or screenshot of the error for us to know what steps to take? Here’s how:

Choose an image source location.
Follow the on-screen instructions
Also, you can tap the "Drag and Drop" option. Maximum attachment is 5 MB.
