The developer mode button and USB-C port would appear to have been removed from the updated / cost-reduced design. See here for gory details: https://forum.openwrt.org/t/google-wifi-no-usb/130774

Hi,

I got a new Google Wifi model GJ2CQ. I can't find the developer button on the board as mentioned here, https://github.com/marcosscriven/galeforce?tab=readme-ov-file.
Does anyone know where the developer mode button is in this model? I hope the developer mode is not removed in this model.

 Thank you

Thank you, Michael. I guess I need to find an old google wifi with USB port and developer mode for openwrt installation. I hope I can find some in ebay, not sure where I can find them.
