Slow wifi speed on home gigabit fiber connection

Have been running Nest Wi-Fi Pro for four weeks and I still am not able to get everything on my home network working properly. At this point, I'm ready to send everything back to Google, as I have had non-stop headaches.

Setup:
Fios gigabit, confirmed speeds of 954 down / 942 up down at the my CR-1000A gateway. Network has an unmanaged gigabit switch, and all ethernet is running on CAT6 cable. Prior to installing Nest Wi-Fi Pro, my network ran on the gateway plus two Linksys wi-fi routers, and I had wi-fi speeds of roughly 750-800 up and down.

Today:

CR1000A doesn't have bridge mode, so all Wi-Fi is disconnected. CAT6 cable between gateway and primary wi-fi mesh node, and CAT6 cable between primary node and network switch. Ethernet backhaul active on the two other wi-fi nodes. Ethernet speeds at wall jacks throughout house is 841 down 908 up. Wi-Fi speed on the nodes right now is 65 up and 4 down. (Note: testing the network speed within the Google Home app is showing the primary node's speed coming directly off the gateway, so it's Ethernet speed.)

There doesn't seem to be any real support on a CR1000A for Nest's mesh network. I put the primary wi-fi node in the gateway's DMZ as one person suggested and there no difference.

Apart from the speed, I've also had wicked setup and compatibility issues, including the fact that I still can't get two HP printers to connect to the network via wi-fi.

Can anyone with a CR1000A know how to get full speed on my mesh wi-fi network?

Since Nest Wifi Pro doesn't work seamlessly with some older devices due to hardware differences, here are a few things you can try to improve your Wi-Fi experience before giving up on Nest Wifi Pro:

To optimize your Nest mesh network:

Ensure your Nest Wifi Pro nodes are placed optimally.
Check for Wi-Fi channel congestion.
If your setup allows it, you can turn off certain features like the guest network or parental controls, as they might impact performance.

If you don't see any improvement with the above instructions, performing a factory reset on your Nest Wifi might be helpful to get a fresh start.

When it comes to printer connectivity, here are a few things you can try:

Do a manual setup utilizing the WPS function or manually enter the network credentials.
If you have enough bandwidth available, you can opt for a separate network for your printers to connect to.
