Alright so I used about 4 of these bad boys for my home. Different key locations. We had a dual network setup at one point in Google Home that had my own personal 2 wifi routers and the other 3 were on a seperate home network scattered around the place.

We're upgrading to wifi 6 soon and we decided to merge and restart all the points and wifi routers we had for the entire day. All but one are working fine.

I've done basically every troubleshot idea possible no results. Its this one nest router that refuses to connect to the rest of the network. It gets to the "adding wifi point your network" part, buffers, then fails 100% of the time. Tells me to factory reset, nothin changes.

I've tried using the network the other linked points and routers are on, but this 4th one refuses to work. Is there something I'm missing? I have 3 (trying to get 4) Nest Routers (not points) connected to our wifi network, and two old Google Wifi routers as well. Nothin' i seem to do fixes anything. Any help would be great.

Hi there!

Thanks for reaching out about your Nest Wifi issue. It sounds like you've already tried a lot of troubleshooting steps, which is great! Let's try a few more things:

Additional Troubleshooting Steps:

Check for Interference:

Move the problematic Nest Wifi router to a different location, away from potential sources of interference like microwaves, cordless phones, or other electronic devices.

Ensure there are no physical obstructions between the router and other devices.

Google Home App Troubleshooting:

App Issues: Try reinstalling the Google Home app. Sometimes, corrupt app data can interfere with device setup.

Clear App Cache and Data: Clearing the app cache and data might resolve temporary glitches.

Test with a Different Device: Try setting up the problematic Nest Wifi router using a different smartphone or tablet to rule out any device-specific issues.

Power Cycling: Power cycle all devices involved in the mesh network (modems, routers, and Nest Wifi points) to refresh the connections.

Check for Hardware Defects: Ensure there are no physical damages or issues with the problematic router. Compare it to the other working routers for any visible differences.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.

Best,

Brandon.
