topic New Router and Google Home App in Nest Wifi

I am not connecting to Nest. And, I am not asking about a Gen 1 anything as far as I know. I can’t find anything that directly addresses this problem, so it’s probably something stupid but, here goes -

we have Google fiber. About 2 years after initial install the router was glitching and Google sent a (model GR6EXX0C) replacement. All devices are connected with the new password. But I would like the Google Home APP on my phone to recognize the new WiFi. I have so far deleted the app and reinstalled it. It continues to show Network is Offline. I also tried Network Settings—>Restart Entire Network on the app.
Any suggestions?

The current Google Fiber hardware is not, in fact, made by Google. It is managed through the Google Fiber app, and cannot be managed through the Google Home app.
