Google nest wifi points not connecting

It's 2026. I got a new modem and I'm having the same problems listed in this forum since 2020. I don't have an I Phone to connect my wifi points so what am I suppressed to do

I'm having a horrible experience with google nest wifi pro as well... they only allow you to change settings via the google home app, which is stupid if the nest router has no internet connection for some unknown reason. The only outcome previously was resetting the decive, but because you cannot backup settings, you lose all setting (port forwarding rules, static ip settings, etc.). I never expected to have such bad experience with a google product. It has been an expensive waste of money. I wished I sent them back after the first issues, but I unfortunately though 'it's google, can't be that it's bad...'.

My point is btw, they should allow us access to a webpage of the device so we can troubleshoot issues there. Not limit us to the horrible app experience we get today.

If you've changed your modem, you will likely need to factory reset your Wifi points using their physical reset button and set them up again.

I did the factory reset multiple times. The step that finally worked for me was that I read somewhere that the points needed to be close to eachother during the setup process and that worked for me! This little nugget shoud be somewhere in your forum, manuals, and broadcasted anywhere folks will be looking for help. Using an iPhone may have worked for some folks but I'm guessing > 55% of people in the world use android phones

Try putting your wifi points next to each other during your setup process. I read that somewhere and it worked for me.
