Hi, I'm having some issues with my nest wifi system. I've been struggling with a real connection for a while but recently found out the cause. For example, if I'm in the living room (first floor), my phone sometimes connects to the WiFi point on the second floor, sometimes the other way around. The signal is not the same because if I'm connected to the router downstairs while I'm downstairs I get about 300 Mbps, while when I just connected the wifi point on the second floor while I'm downstairs I get about 50 Mbps. Does anyone have a solution for this? i have 3 points in total, one on the first floor one on the second floor and one on the third floor.

Hi, Niek.
I just wanted to jump in real fast to see if you saw Goggler's reply and to see if you still needed some help on this or if you were able to get it sorted out. If you are still needing some help, just let us know and we'll be happy to continue helping.
Thanks.

Hey, Niek.

On your mesh test results, are all your points showing the same strength connection, or do they vary? If they differ from one another, what are you seeing for each point?

Ok, Niek. Thanks for reporting back on that.

So it sounds a little counter intuitive, but it might be a case of your points being a little too close to one another and your devices are struggling to have a clear winner for which point to connect to. Try putting a little more space between the points. It doesn't need to be a huge difference in spacing, maybe half a room to a room to see if it reduces any confusing overlap for the mesh network. If things remain the same there, let me know and we can look at additional options.

Thanks.
