No foreign language input options on Nest wi-fi access points

I am unable to use any language other than English when speaking to the Nest wifi access point (hey google).

My understanding is that google assistant is the brains behind the voice interactions I can have with the AP. And my google assistant is set up to understand languages other than English (e.g. Russian). But the fact that I have added Russian as one of the available input languages in Assistant is not propagating out to the Nest wifi APs.

Sorry that you're having issues with your language settings on your Assistant. You can definitely run two languages at once for voice recognition. Here's a link to a help article that discusses setting up primary and secondary languages: https://bit.ly/2J3Djvv.

After reviewing those steps, if you have any continued issues getting the second language to work, please let me know.

Thanks Jeff. Yes. I’ve done that already and voice recognition for multiple languages works just fine when i am using the Assistant app on my phone. However, voice recognition for multiple languages is not working when i speak directly to any of my Nest wifi access points. I can interact with them just fine in English, but not in any other language.

that’s what is confusing. I’ve mage the changes through the Google Home app as in your directions, but those changes don’t seem to be making it out to the access points.
