Does Google WiFi require an internet connection to function?

No, if the internet drops your intranet should still work, I know mine does with nest wifi.

I am using Google WiFi - with Cloud Services - would that be the issue?

Should I turn off cloud services ?

No that wouldn't make a difference. What is it your are trying to do when your internet is down exactly?

For example, I have a plex server locally, and if my ISP internet drops, I can still stream locally through plex. With or without Cloud services.

My wifi router and access point both went offline when the internet went down - could not ping other computers nor use the networked printer

When your Internet is down, are you able to see the network in your Home app? I know it won't show as connected to the Internet, but does it show up in the app at all?

Google Nest Wi-Fi Router and Nest Wi-Fi Points all say Offline and the LAN does not work for any device connected to it. Internet is down but why doesn’t the LAN work?
