Nest Wifi as a Thread Border Router?

Just curious... I see that Nest Wifi and Nest Hub Max can join an existing Thread network (which means they can be Thread Routers). Any idea when (or if) the Nest Wifi will become a Thread Border Router (so it can start its own Thread network)?

This is a mostly a user to user community, so we don't know unfortunately. If this is important to you, I’d encourage you to also send this feedback directly to Google. You will not receive a response, unless Google need more details from you, however the team are still reading the feedback.
