I cannot understand why the legacy Nest API were abandoned by Google while new APIs are not in place. Having connectivity is absolutely crucial nowadays for such a product and was part of the features when I had purchased it. All my HomeAssistant rules in case of alerts (triggering specific lights, launching action to contact key persons, etc.) are broken and there is still absolutely no perspective of Google fixing it.
