      <title>Can't Connect to Nest Protect - Randomly Offline - P014 Error</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Good day, all!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have 3 Nest Protect devices in my house.&amp;nbsp; Realized yesterday that 2 had gone offline for an unknown reason.&amp;nbsp; Batteries are good in each device.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I've followed directions posted to this forum to attempt to resolve on 1 of the 2 offline devices w/o any success.&amp;nbsp; I've noticed a few different error codes being presented throughout my attempts:&amp;nbsp; P014, P021 (4.6), &amp;amp; P024 (6007) are one's I recall at the moment. Here are some of the steps I've attempted:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;OL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Restart Router/APs&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Reset Protect devices by holding middle button down until hearing the VERSION number being read back (v3.5.0.3)&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Restarting phone, phone wifi, and phone bluetooth&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Setting phone in AIRPLANE mode and enabling only wifi and bluetooth&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Reseting the Protect again, waking device up, and attempting to reconnect via NEST app&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/OL&gt;&lt;P&gt;Reading online help makes it sound like there's "no error at all" but I've not had any success at all.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;All work has been completed with device sitting directly next to my phone.&amp;nbsp; Lastly, P024 (6007) doesn't appear to be a documented error.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Anyone out there smarter than me about this and can assist?&amp;nbsp; Much appreciate it!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;OK - Update!&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I've been able to successfully add these 2 "offline" Protect devices but was forced to create a NEW HOME - I could NOT reconnect them to my existing HOME.&amp;nbsp; That is a problem.&amp;nbsp; These are all part of the same house and should be included in the same HOME on the Nest app.&amp;nbsp; Better yet - the Protect devices really need to be added to the list of supported devices in the Google Home app.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Can I MOVE these devices from one HOME to another?&amp;nbsp; The research continues!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Success!&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;So, despite all of the errors I've received within the app, I was able to move these devices back to my original "HOME" within the Nest App.&amp;nbsp; After adding the devices to a "new Home" within the Nest App, i was able to remove from that home and configure them in my original HOME.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Still not understanding why I couldn't configure these into the same home I had set up, but, setting up a new home for these and moving back worked.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
