How to set up nest protect large network

I have 2 nest protects. 1 already installed in my home on wifi network A.

If i want to install the second one in my shop (60meters from my home) on wifi network B i have to make a second "home" called shop in the nest app. They won't let me add 2 protects in 1 "home" on 2 different wi-fi networks.

Therefore the protects aren't connected, when fire occurs in my shop the protect in my home will not sound an alarm. I only get a ping from the nest app.

How do I solve this? I have a central router in my home with wired connection to shop. Throw away my old routers and set up mesh wi-fi?

Do you have a wired or battery Nest Protect?
Are the home and the shop connected to the same WiFi signal?
Are you setting up each Nest Protect in each location that you need?
Do you see any specific error while you are trying to connect the devices?
