New protect smoke alarms will not install due to internal nest software issues according to nest support team?? Anyone hear of this? It’s been about 3 weeks and issue still not resolved. I continue to get P018 errors upon install.

Here is the troubleshooting for the P018 error: Troubleshooting a P018 or P008 error when setting up a Nest Protect - Google Nest Help

There are some routers that are not compatible as per that page.

Please reach out to support directly and they should be better able to help.
