Reset Smoke Detector

I am having trouble setting up my Nest smoke detector. I have several and do not have any issues with the others. I have tried to do a reset, but all that happens is the light will start flashing blue, stop for a few seconds, and then begin flashing blue again until I remove the power. I do not get any audio telling me it will erase the setting. I have tried to do this for 10 seconds, 20 seconds, 30 seconds, and tried every combination of pressing the button.

Any ideas or help

When did you first start running into this issue?
What kind of Nest Protect do you have? If you're not sure, no worries! You can check out our help center here: "How to tell which Nest Protect you have."
How far away is the Nest smoke detector from your Wi-Fi router?
Besides the reset you performed, did you try any other troubleshooting? If yes, what other steps did you try?
