Ridiculous, so We need to buy another unit for £99! This would not have been the case if bloody Google had not bought them. Disgusting, unacceptable and possibly illegal. Spares have to be available for at least 5 years as far as I know. ‘Sale of goods act’ cover this I believe at least in the UK! Why Google will not reply directly I do not know? Who did you contact to get this information? Thanks for any answer.

I am on Canada Google I talked to nest support and due to it is am older version out of warranty but if it was in warranty they would change the whole unit for just a piece of plastic lol yeah it's nuts
