Nest Protect WiFi settings

Online help says to change wifi settings for Nest Protect in Google Home, go to device settings and click on WiFi. There is no Wi-Fi option under the device settings for Protect in Google Home.

I see no way to change wifi settings for Nest Protect using Google Home.

Thanks for posting in the community. I understand you're trying to change your Nest Protect's Wi-Fi settings; however, you're unable to make the change on the Google Home app. No worries; I can definitely help with that.

The Google Home app can only change Wi-Fi settings for devices that were originally set up using it. To update the Wi-Fi network for your Nest Protect, please use the Nest app, which offers full access to all features and configurations.
