my dog practically had a seizure yesterday when the battery ran out on one of our protect units while we were out for a couple of hours.

given the device sends a notification, Google must provide a way to disable the low battery warning remotely.

Nest Protect devices are designed to chirp continuously for low battery, and this cannot be silenced remotely through the app or any other option; it will continue until the batteries are physically replaced. I've left feedback but am not hopeful

I find it ironic that we can silence an actual alarm remotely, but not the low battery chirp.
