Nest thermostat Off line

Hi my nest thermostat has gone off line

tried restarting , Wi-Fi working In The house no changes apart from it going offline ??

I have the same problem. It went offline at the new year.

Exactly the same as mine

must be there (nest ) issue

been trying my Wi-Fi and reseting my nest thermostat to no avail

It took a very long time (I had to answer a lot of questions twice with two different people) but chat support eventually got what it needed to send a replacement. The unit kept saying the battery was low so it couldn't connect to the app but ours is wired and it could not discover any wifi. They didn't say it outright but there were hints that they're replacing a lot of units. For example, I could only get stainless steel to replace the white we purchased.
