Connecting Nest Protect without the QR code

The electrician hard wired the Nest Protect to the ceiling (replacing a Gen 1 Nest which expired) without photographing the QR code. Someone in my house threw out the box and all the papers, and the trash man already came.

Is there any way to connect Nest Protect to the app without that code? Otherwise I will need to disassemble the wiring to pull it down and see the QR code.

Sorry for the delay in here but thanks for reaching out.

I'm afraid that there is not a way to add a Nest Protect to an account without a QR code. I suggest that when you disassemble the wiring in order to scan the QR code, take a photo of them also and save on your mobile device if in case you need to re-add them to your account in the future.
