Are 2021 and 2022 Nest Protects different?

I purchased four Nest Protects from Best Buy. Two were manufactured in 2022 and have the UL 217 rating label. They also have a Smoke Sensitivity number stamped on the label of .96+/-.50%

The other two were manufactured in 2021. They don't have the UL 217 label. Their smoke sensitivity numbers are 1.58+/-.67%

Both are model number 06C. (The exterior packaging is also slightly different--the newer ones have a little checkbox at the bottom right that says "wired 120V" and "long-life battery" while the older ones just say "wired 120v")

I'm trying to figure out if these are functionally the same or not. I tried a Google chat support session, and they were not able to answer the question--eventually told me I could return the two older ones and wait for more to come in stock at Google. But they could not tell me if the units were any different or not.

Does anybody know if there are differences between these? It could be that the older ones meet the new UL standard but just didn't qualify for the label yet.

I also wonder if the smoke sensitivity number is related to the software rather than hardware--in which case, the older ones would update when we install them regardless? But that's just speculation on my part.

Does anybody know if these units are the same or different?

I never did get an answer, and the article doesn't say whether there is any functional difference between the two models I described, both of which are 06C but have differences as I listed in the question.
