nest protect detect smoke, but no alarm or notification on my phone, app

While I cook, smoke detected, and the protect shows red, and alarming which is good.

However, there was no alarm on my phone, no notification on my phone or nest app. it was working on June, but today not working (September). The software version is 3.4.1rc1 which is this year August one, I assume maybe this is new software bug?

I really wish to get phone notification when smoke alarm beeps so I can be comfortable when I am not in home.

I googled many posts, and my notification setup, and wifi connections are all good.

I'm sorry for the late reply. I know it's been a while but I wanted to see how I could help.

How's your Nest Protector? Were you able to manage and change the notification settings? No worries, I did find a helpful article with some troubleshooting steps for when your device is not getting any notifications.

Please let me know if that helps or if the issue still persists.
