QR code on back of device is damaged and I cannot read the code to re-establish Wi-Fi connectivity. What can I do to get the code?

You either need the QR code or the 6 digit entry key located near the QR code. Perhaps ask a friend or family member for help reading the 6 digit code?

You won't be able to set it up without one or the other.

@BGC11 how's it going? I know the feeling when you can't set up a device. No worries! Let's check what other options we have.

Try taking a photo of the entry key so that you can see it better on your phone. Also, if you still have the box, you may check the QR code there. Hit this link to know more about setting up a Nest Protect.
