Where can I get a wire replacement for the nest smoke detector? I had work done in the basement and the contractor threw away wires.

I tried replacing it and even buying the wire. Google told me they can’t and I have to buy a new one smoke detector. Unbelievable! I can buy a Google phone and accessory power cord but I can’t buy a replacement power cord for my smoke alarm. This is beyond acceptable business practice and just flat out horrible. Time to move away from Google’s ecosystem.
