Reset nest thermostat so I can scan qr code

Somehow I deleted my 2 nest thermostats so now on my app it shows no thermostats and when I try to add them it says that the thermostat is already linked to an acct. how can I reset them

Hi folks,

I'm sorry for the late reply. I know its been awhile but I wanted to ensure and see how I could help.

Your Nest thermostats are still associated with your account even though you removed them from the Nest app. To reset it, please follow these steps:

Go to Thermostat Settings > Reset > Account Connection > Reset.
1. This will permanently remove the account link from your thermostat.
Once it's ready, reconnect it manually to your Wi-Fi network.
Proceed with the Nest App option under settings. Select a QR code or entry key.
Open the Nest app on your phone and add a product.
